Jutze: Unser Song für die dritte Runde des 5. Song Fu-Songwriting-Wettbewerbs im Dezember 2009. Aufgabe war es, ein Weihnachtslied zu schreiben, das nicht direkt von Weihnachten handelt. Beim Songwriting wurde ich von Richard Shindells Lied "Before You Go" inspiriert. Daher kommt auch der Titel unseres Stücks, das die Geschichte fortführt, diesmal aus der Sicht von Jesus, der auf dem Weg zur Erde bzw. am Ende wieder zurück in den Himmel ist. Besonderer Dank gilt Song Fu-Kollege Caleb Hines für die Hilfe bei den Streicherklängen!
